I am a writer, an entrepreneur, a strategic and creative thinker, a father and an advocate for living your dream.
Born in the 1970s, I grew up with a diet of Baby Boomer culture and came of age during the eighties and nineties, a child of the suburbs, of Reagan and of Clinton.
In my professional life, I have focused on Translation and Architecture, which I believe are the foundation of all successful businesses.
Translation is the ability to understand the goals, strategies and techniques of a business unit (company, non-profit, department, vendor, customer, etc.) and to communicate these in the language of another business, department or non-profit. I find that, in each stage of my career, I have been called on to translate across organizations to achieve results.
Architecture refers to the act of designing and constructing effective organizational structures to achieve goals, align with strategies and execute techniques. Like Translation, developing Architecture is an ongoing process that ultimately results in efficiency and profit.
I have applied these skills in the non-profit and for profit worlds, for large organizations and small start ups. Currently, I run my family’s contracting business in Denver, Colorado and am looking to meet like-minded entrepreneurs who are interested in pursuing new and innovative opportunities.
