I resisted becoming a parent for a long time. Throughout my twenties and early thirties, I had a list of other priorities that I felt needed to be addressed first: career, travel, home ownership, etc.
Now, with a three year old daughter and a five month old son, I have no idea why I waited so long. My children awakened a side of my personality that nothing else has ever stirred.
Being a father is a constant challenge but also a continual reward. It’s also a good source of amusing anecdotes, lessons in patience, and heart touching moments.
